Central Iowa Water Works (CIWW) is a regional drinking water authority. It was established in 2024 by 12 founding members with a refreshingly innovative business model that combines regional wholesale water production with collaborative governance, cost-sharing, planning and unified protection of source water. Members maintain their local control and independence with responsibility for their respective distribution systems, customer service and operations.
